Welcome to the CruiseVoices Crew Corner! Whether you're currently working on a cruise ship, you've finished contracts, or you're about to start your first voyage as crew — this space is for YOU.

To keep our crew forums authentic and trustworthy, we offer a Verified Crew badge that shows the community you're the real deal.

✅ Who Can Get Verified?​

  • Current crew members — actively working on any cruise line
  • Former crew members — completed at least one contract on any cruise ship
  • Incoming crew — have a signed contract and confirmed embarkation date
It doesn't matter which cruise line, which department, or how long ago you sailed. If you've worked on a cruise ship, you qualify.

📩 How to Get Verified​

It's simple — just send a Direct Message (DM) to @CVAdmin with the following:
  1. Your cruise line(s) — which company you work/worked for
  2. Your department and position — e.g. "F&B - Head Waiter" or "Entertainment - Cruise Staff"
  3. Dates of service — approximate is fine (e.g. "March 2023 - November 2024")
  4. Proof of employment— ONE of the following:
    • Photo of your crew ID card
    • Photo of your seaman's book
    • Screenshot of your contract or offer letter
    • Photo of you in crew uniform on the ship
You can blur or redact any sensitive information like ID numbers, full legal name, or personal details. We just need enough to confirm you actually worked on a ship.

For incoming crew who haven't boarded yet: send your offer letter or contract confirmation with your embarkation date.

🔒 Your Privacy is Protected​

  • We NEVER share your documents, photos, or personal information with anyone
  • Your verification info is reviewed by @CVAdmin only and then deleted
  • You can use any username — your real name is never required or displayed
  • Your specific ship, position, and dates are only visible if YOU choose to share them in posts
